Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC)
AAAHC advocates for the provision of high-quality health care through the development and adoption of nationally recognized standards. We provide a valuable survey experience founded on a peer-based, educational approach to onsite review. The AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation demonstrates an organization’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality services to its patients—every day of the 1,095-day accreditation cycle. It is recognized by third party payors, medical professional associations, liability insurance companies, state and federal agencies, and the public.
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
The Center for Surgery is licensed thru the State of California Department of Public Health. Maintaining this license means the center complies with all of the States’ laws governing surgical clinics. Our last unannounced visit by State surveyors resulted in “no deficiencies,” a perfect score that is very rare.
THE CENTER FOR MEDICARE AND MEDICAID SERVICES
The Center cares for patients with Medicare insurance coverage. We have been a Medicare provider since 1989 and comply with all of the CMS standards.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Center for Surgery is a member in good standing of the California Ambulatory Surgery Association and on the national level the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association since 2003.
